[Caucalis
I visited Mr Martin at his chamber in Emanuel Colledge... He hath promised to procure me seeds of the following viz.... Caucalis latifolia flore rubello & Caucalis tenuifolia flor. rubente. May 5th 1735, Dale, Iter Cantab.
There being two sorts of Caucalys growing in Cambridgeshire which we have not here besides the Linum sylvestre perenne I gave the names thereof to Dr Walker for Mr Mason to have ripe seeds gathered in there season. June 2 1737, Dale, Iter Cantab.
[Caucalis latifolia and C. platycarpos are not in Essex, nor is Turgenia.]
