About 6 large, robust plants found on embankment at side of footpath beside A.11 by Fleam Dyke, (Balsham), RSR Fitter, c. 7.8.2001, PVT; GMS Easy, 10.8.2001, PVT; S Hearle, 15.8.2001, PVT.
GPS 54807.54102, locally abundant on the steep grassy bank on the southeastern side of the footpath leading northeast from the footbridge over the A11 (southeastern side of A11). Much of the sward was dominated by a fine leaved Festuca sp. that was likely to have been sown. SH opines that it was not sown recently and the overall appearance of the bank and its vegetation bears this out. None of the forb species present appeared likely to have been sown. Several M. pulegium specimens were taken for pressing. A few M.pulegium plants were found on the northwestern side of the footpath in a similar Festuca sward. Associated species include: Achillea millefolium r, Artemisia vulgaris o, Ballota nigra r, Crepis capillaris r, Cynoglossum officinale r, Festuca sp., d, Inula conyzae r, Lolium perenne o, Pastinaca sativa r, Sambucus nigra sapling r, Senecio jacobaea o, Taraxacum officinale o, Verbascum nigrum r, NP Millar, 23.8.2001.
