Campanula rapunculus [error for rapunculoides] ...frequently found growing in Mill Field near the hedge of the Mill garden where it is most probably an escape therefrom. [Whittlesford] It is a troublesome weed in a garden somewhat resembling a small parsnep in appearance, colour and taste. It was formerly cultivated in kitchen gardens as a vegetable and eaten both raw and in salads and boiled. [at bott. page] (C. rapunculoides) and specimens - no title. [C. rapunculoides conf.
