Inula helenium my father N Maynard used to gather this ...at Whittlesford in a meadow on the west side of the Old way called Whipperty Road in a small pasture that at that time belonged to Old Master Lofts, the village postmaster and called after him Lofts Meadow. Maynard MS.13:367.CRO.
